Subaru - Impreza WRX STI Carbon

The Subaru Impreza WRX is a car that have made many historical achievements at motorsport and have gained a cult following around the world. Their highest model STI is not for a the faint at heart and they release various special models time and time again to keep the fans on their toes. This latest news could bring smiles to the faces of WRX fans as the Impreza WRX Carbon is launched.

The main feature of this model is its carbon fibre roof top that is supposed to reduce weight and also lower the center of gravity for better performance. Two versions will be available in 2 litre turbo engine producing 227kW (308hp) at 422Nm of torque and 2.5 litre turbo engine producing 221kW (300hp) at 407Nm of torque. Though the most surprising aspect of this car could be its 5 speed automatic transmission to soften the hardcore image of STI.
